in Essence

How fitting, lol. Jk, but not really. My friends and family, or people who struggle to pronounce my full name, mostly call me "Mendi." I'm good with either!

I've used big-ass leaps of faith throughout my twenties to get me where I am today, which is a good place - mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. Vocationally, we're getting there, lol - please refer to the verse below as to why I don't trip over that piece of my purpose pie.

So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.

I rep for Jesus; I'm a proud daughter, big sister, girlfriend, friend, and dog mom. In the business of Love, I play a part-time role as Wedding Officiant but pride myself in being a full-time love enthusiast. I've been blessed with the gift of encouragement, so naturally, in a world that submits to the burdens of life, I challenge myself to appreciate the beauty in it and inspire others to do the same along the way!

Hence, I love to love and believe it's what makes the world go 'round. So, I created this blog to document parts of my life that illuminate how love plays a factor in my relationships, personal growth, and faith. I intended to share it with people of the same interests or who don't give a crap but choose to follow along anyway. Either way, I hope that the words I share will resonate with other souls and spur up foundations of love in areas of their lives that they never thought love would answer to.
